As 2020 begins, we are so thankful for the extraordinary support that the IFPO received this past year. Assuring that so many of our food-insecure neighbors had a better week would not have been possible without each and every one of you who volunteer your time; contribute to food, diaper, coat and toy drives; provide goods; offer physical help and grant us financial support. We are so incredibly grateful.

We would like to especially acknowledge your financial contributions made on #GivingTuesday and in support of our end of the year campaign. Your amazing generosity enables us to accomplish so much.

The food, feminine hygiene products, diapers, toiletries, coats, toys, children's books, medical screenings and more we provided impacted almost 38,000 residents of Orange and East Orange in 2019. In total, IFPO's food and services reached more than 22,000 adults, 3,700 seniors, and 18,000 children. Fully 44% of the people we impact are children. There were over 12,000 total pantry visits in 2019, a 45% increase in visits over just two years ago!

We are indebted to each and every one of the many partners and sponsors, corporate partners and in kind contributors (click here to see the current listing)  that supports our work. We particularly wish to hig hlight the continual contributions of the Community Foodbank of New Jersey, which partners with us weekly, and especially for their contributions to our diabetes , diaper, and farmers market programs. CFB also is a sponsor of our feminine hygiene program, and has recently committed to providing the IFPO with 200 packs of maxi pads each month till June 2020 .  Our work would be so much harder without Maplecrest Moves Charities, which is always there to transport goods we need. Summit Medical Group Foundationsupports innumerable IFPO programs that positively impact our clients' health, including medical screenings and our diabetes program, and made our clients lives better through the provision of backpacks, turkeys, coats and toys. We are grateful to be a part of MEND, who provides guidance and financial assistance. Thank you also to Worldwide Orphans whose Element of Play Toy Library enriched the children of the IFPO for so much of this year, and who contributed toys to our holiday distribution.
