C.D.C. Shortens Isolation Period for People With Covid 3/1/2024

Americans with Covid or other respiratory infections need not isolate for five days and may return to daily activities if they don’t have a fever and their symptoms are improving. Additional information here.

Free covid tests are available by mail. Four free kits will be delivered directly to your home once you fill out the form. Order at: https://special.usps.com/testkits to order. Tests may show “expired” dates on the box, but FDA has extended those dates.

Covid Funeral Assistance Benefits:

Financial assistance for actual funeral costs up to $9,000 may now be available for Covid-related deaths (as indicated on death certificate) in the US. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national, or qualified alien. There is no requirement for the decedent to have been a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national, or qualified alien.
