The Food Pantry needs 60+ volunteers on Wednesday mornings (except the first Wednesday of the month) between 8:15 a.m. and noon. Students age 10 and up are welcome to volunteer with us and must be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteers are needed to escort the clients through our client choice stations and help them make their selections. It is an excellent way to connect with clients. Volunteers also stock and staff our client choice stations, organize and restock shelves, package donated baked goods from local bakeries, take monthly inventory, unload vehicles, and check-in clients.
Volunteers are needed on Tuesdays to pick donations from local bakeries.
We have occasional need for volunteers on weekends for events or before Thanksgiving. These events will be listed in our newsletter or on our Facebook page.

We can accommodate groups of up to 15-20. Advance arrangements must be made, given demand. Groups are strongly encouraged to also bring a donation of food, diapers, feminine hygiene products or make a monetary donation. Dates, group details and donation suggestions should all be discussed with the Volunteer Coordinator.

Teens are welcome to join us over school vacations during regular Wednesday morning pantry hours and earn community service hours too!
The Teen Board consists of students in grades 9-12, from various high schools, towns and religious organizations. Teen Board members develop leadership
skills by organizing and staffing fundraisers and food drives. These events are held on weekends or after school hours.
